MarkeTo District Fall Food Drive 2018
Another Successful Food Drive!
The MarkeTo District BIA has completed its annual Fall Food Drive. Participating community partners include Lady York Foods, City Fish Market, CIBC, IC Savings, Home Hardware, among many others. The Food Drive ran from September 15th until October 8th.
Following hard work and contributions from members of the community, the MarkeTo District BIA was able to attract almost 1,000 LBS (964 to be exact) of food donations for our Fall Food Drive 2018.
All donations were made to North York Harvest Food Bank, and they were very happy to receive the donation. This brings the BIA’s total donations for the year to 3,200 pounds, a sizable haul that will go a long way to helping families in need.
We look forward to next year, and continuing to do our part. Keep an eye out in March for our Easter Food Drive 2019.
